Laura- Student of the Month

Laura was so excited when she brought home a bright red paper on Wednesday. “What does it say mom?” “You can read now, sound it out.” She spent about 5 minutes sounding out words till she knew that she was selected from her class to be the student of the month.  Laura is a huge helper for her teacher.  She uses her as a peer teacher with math to help others that don’t understand the concepts.  Maybe she’ll grow up to be a teacher like her Mommy! Congratulations Laura!
