We just got back from a fun 3 day family vacation. The kids really wanted to go do something but I had NO money set aside for a vacation. It had to be CHEAP! So I used my resources and humbled myself to first ask my best friend if we could use her timeshare - inventory special for where to stay. ( They are very generous to share their benefits but it is so hard to ask. ) The great thing about staying at a World Mark Resort is that you are in a condo with a full stocked kitchen, there are lots of fun activities to do and all you have to do is get there and bring your own food and have fun! So the 2 nights in our 8 person condo cost just under $90. Then we brought food from home but made one stop to get hot dog buns and chips so that was $15.00.
The first day we played racket ball, played in the hot tub, played soccer, played in the play room, worked out in the exercise room and played basketball. We also brought the play station and checked out movies from the library. All Activities FREE!
Day 2 we decided to leave the resort and head into Ogden to see what fun we could have and we really found some. We first hiked around Pine View Reservoir. FREE!
We then drove to the marina and skipped rocks from the dock and a few of us dipped our feet in the COLD water! FREE!
The Union Station has a whole bunch of trains you can discover. We climbed all over the trains and had so much fun. Some great pictures too. Cost FREE!
On the way there we happened to see Farr’s Ice Cream and decided that we’d splurge to get ice cream as our treat. Sadly it was EXPENSIVE! But they did have a bargain bin and the kids were great to pick from there except our youngest. Total cost $6.00.
After Ice Cream we headed back to the Resort for a BBQ on our deck Then more hot tub/pool play, racket ball, tennis, and relaxing.
Day 3 We had a delicious pancake breakfast then cleaned up the condo. After we packed up we spent the first few hours at the Resort with frisbee, volleyball, more tennis and some pool. Then we headed to Hill Aerospace Museum for a picnic lunch then walking around the planes. Then on a whim we drove out to Antelope Island. Total cost only $9.00 for Day Use fee to Antelope Island which was worth every penny. The water was not even cold and was so fun to play in. We can now say we’ve been in the Great Salt Lake and seen Buffalo roaming wild. Awesome! Then we headed home.
HOME!
Thank you Dalton Family for letting us use your timeshare to make so many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

Sounds like tons of fun! And I am very impressed by how much you were able to do for free and on a small budget!
