I have many reasons to smile. I am blessed to be a wife to an amazing man and mother to 5 incredible children. I also have a deep faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I was going to delete my previous post but decided...
that those feelings are very true and real to me. I do feel that my upper body especially is way too skinny. I love some of it but really dislike some of it. After reading it over many times and removing myself from it for a little while I've decided that it isn't that I don't like my body but I just haven't given it enough time to get healthy looking. I have pounds and inches of excess skin hanging on my arms, stomach and thighs that hopefully will someday go away with more hard work and diligence. I do LOVE my body and where it has come from. It has born 5 beautiful children, it has hiked many mountains, it has run many miles, biked many miles, cried many tears and will take me on more journeys as life goes on. I am so thankful for the awakening I had 15 months ago that has allowed me to be open to change. Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ has been with me every step of the way and continues to be by my side. I need to have some patience with myself and as my body has time to change I'm sure I'll like more the body under the clothes.

Becky, I am sorry you are unhappy. I don't know a single woman who is honestly completely 100% content with her body. I love that your goal is "healthy." Sarah - one of the health experts in our family - is constantly telling me when you are eating right and exercising within a normal spectrum (not too much, not too little), your body has a weight it gravitates towards all on its own...I love you, you are, and have always been, beautiful.
I am actually very happy but I just wish my body was nicely toned without the baggy skin. I am not being patient with it. It took 36 years to get the way it was and I want it to shrink back in a year. I just need to be thankful for the great progress that has been made so far.
You absolutely look awesome! Maintaining is a whole different thing from losing! Its a whole different mind game. It will take awhile to get toned unfortunately! Good luck in your future journey with it all. You passed me on your bike the other day. We moved back here. :)
