The events that bring extended family together are usually really happy occasions or very sad events. This time it was both. What a blessing that Papaw was able to return home to his Heavenly Father. He was suffering a lot and although we miss him terribly it is a so wonderful to think of my Dad surrounded in a huge bear hug by his father and the reunion with all of those that have passed on before him. Knowing the Plan of Salvation and Eternal Families makes death so much easier. Almost all of my siblings and cousins were in town for the funeral. Even my Aunt Martha came. We had some wonderful visiting at Anna’s house and a delicious BBQ.
Why I smile everyday!
We are very blessed to be an eternal family.
