13.1

I did it!!! I didn’t just finish but totally rocked the race!!!  I even ran it like a real runner and everything. My time on my watch is 2:05!!!  I look forward to seeing what my adjusted time is in a few days but for now here are my results.

Almost to the finish line.
(Thanks Kim for the great picture!)

Anna registered me for this race as my birthday gift.  It was the best present ever!!!  Thanks Anna for giving me a reason to push myself to do something I thought was near impossible.

I’ll have more pictures after Anna sends them to me but here are my before and after shots. I’ll write more later but I must say it was a life changing moment. I have a HOT DATE to go on so I better get ready.

Below is a link to my Garmin site that has my actual run as recorded  on my watch. Click on the picture if you care to see more.

Yay! We all finished, some of us slower than others but maybe that was a blessing for the ones who had more time to rest. :) I am glad you are not too stiff...are you running this week??

Kim posted but it got deleted...

The Brown Family has left a new comment on your post "13.1":

It was so much fun to see you!! And now I'm kicking myself that I didn't watch for Anna {we were her cheerleaders when she and Mandi ran Hobblecreek}.

I'll email you the picture I took. My camera batteries were almost out, so I'm hoping it isn't too blurry. It cracks me up because the girl in front of you was also named Becky- and she was asking us who we were! Hilarious!

Great job. That's a huge accomplishment- and GREAT time, by the way.

Wow! So inspiring! I love the smile on your face in that photo. You don't look like you've just run 13.1 miles! :) Good job and I'll see you out there running, I'm sure! :) Way to go!
